Every month, you decide who deserves the crown.

The KNOX Player of the Month campaign gives supporters the chance to recognise the player who has impressed them the most.

August was a successful month for the Magpies, with Matthias Jaissle's side picking up four points from a possible six in the Premier League, while also progressing in the Carabao Cup.

Anthony Elanga and Yoane Wissa have both enjoyed strong starts to the campaign, with the duo both finding the net in last weekend's 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Meanwhile, summer signing Amar Dedić has been equally impressive following his arrival from Portuguese side Benfica.

And it is Dedić who has scooped the first award of the season, landing a strong 47% of the public vote following positive performances against Liverpool, Spurs and West Bromwich Albion.
