After a goalless first half at Rockliffe Park, Alfie Seldon broke the deadlock for the young Magpies in the 54th minute - the 16-year-old winger's eighth goal of the season at under-18 level.
Michael Mills, who signed his first professional contract with United on his 17th birthday, doubled the visitors' lead after the hour mark before Seldon, who assisted Mills' effort, notched his second goal of the game.
Aaron Epia, who made his international debut for Poland at under-19 level in March, added gloss to the scoreline in the closing stages as Chris Moore's side recorded a total of 49 points, their highest tally since the 2011/12 campaign (55), to finish in an impressive third place.
