Tony Harrington will be the referee for Newcastle United's final Premier League fixture of the 2024/25 season against Everton on Sunday afternoon.

Eddie Howe's side welcome the Toffees to St. James' Park, aiming for a seventh consecutive league win on home soil to secure a place in next season's UEFA Champions League, and this will be the first time Harrington has officiated a fixture involving the Magpies this term.

The Yorkshire official was in charge of United's 1-1 draw against Everton last season, awarding a penalty to the visitors in the closing stages, converted by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, as well as handing out three yellow cards that evening, booking no Newcastle players.

Promoted to the Select Group 1 or Referees in 2021, Harrington was the man in the middle for the Magpies' 5-1 home victory against Sheffield United in April 2024, awarding a penalty to the hosts which was scored by Alexander Isak whilst booking no players that afternoon.
