Michael Mills, Sam Alabi, Kyran Thompson and Roman Dowell
The Magpies Academy quartet all received their first international call-ups for England at under-18 level ahead of competing in the UEFA Friendship Cup in Switzerland.
England's youngsters sealed top spot in Group A with a 2-1 win against Korea Republic on Wednesday, with Alabi opening the scoring in stunning fashion on his first international start at Under-18 level.
Mills, Thompson and Dowell all started the clash in Nyon as Ryan Kavuma-McQueen's stoppage-time strike maintained England's 100 per cent winning record in the competition.
Will Antwi's side began the tournament with a 3-2 win against Colombia, with Mills scoring the opener for the Young Lions, following in after Thompson's effort was stopped. Alabi, meanwhile, played the final 25 minutes on a landmark night for the four Magpies hopefuls.
And Mills netted again, rolling home the winner after coming off the bench in an eventual 2-1 win over Egypt on Sunday. Like Mills, Thompson and Alabi made second half substitute appearances, with Dowell unused.
A fourth game will take place with opposition, date and time to be confirmed following conclusion of this evening's Group B fixtures.
Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento
The defensive duo were initially named in the England squad ahead of four UEFA Nations League Group Stage fixtures. Livramento, however, has been forced to withdraw from the Three Lions' camp due to injury.
Thomas Tuchel's side began their Group A3 campaign with a 3-2 defeat to world champions Spain at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, with Hall watching on from the bench.
Hall was handed his fifth senior cap in a 2-0 away victory against ten-man Czechia on Tuesday, playing the full game as second-half goals from former Magpie Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane sealed maximum points at the Fortuna Arena in Prague.
England take on Croatia at the Stadion Rujevica in Rijeka on Saturday, 3rd October (kick-off 5pm BST) before returning to London to host Czechia at Wembley on Tuesday, 6th October (kick-off 7:45pm BST).
Bazoumana Touré
The 20-year-old winger, who arrived at St. James' Park from TSG Hoffenheim in July, was included in the Ivory Coast squad for their three international fixtures this window, including two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Les Éléphants began their Group C campaign with a 2-0 win over four-time winners Ghana at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan last week, with the United man making a late appearance off the bench for the final four minutes.
Ivory Coast claimed a 2-0 away win against Somalia on Tuesday, with Touré netting in stoppage-time at the Muqdisho Stadium in Mogadishu.
Hervé Renard's side will host Cameroon in an international friendly on Saturday, 3rd October (kick-off 8pm BST) as Touré aims to add to his 11 caps accrued at senior level.
Lukáš Horníček
The 24-year-old goalkeeper, who made his international debut in May 2026 was named in the Czech Republic squad for their Nations League Group A3 fixtures, and played the full 90 minutes against Croatia in Prague on Saturday in a 2-1 defeat.
His side hosted Lewis Hall's England at the same venue, the Fortuna Arena, on Tuesday but the Czech shot-stopper was an unused substitute.
Santi Denia's side travel to Spain to face the World champions on Saturday, 3rd October at the Estadio Carlos Tartiere in Oviedo before facing England at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday, 6th October.
Both games will take place at 7:45pm (BST).
Ewen Jaouen and Aladji Bamba
The French pair, who joined the Magpies last summer from Stade de Reims and AS Monaco respectively, were named in the France Under-21s squad ahead of four European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.
France's youngsters drew 1-1 with Iceland on Friday evening, with Jaouen playing the full game and Bamba remaining on the bench.
Les Bleuets claimed a 2-0 win against Estonia on Tuesday, with Bamba recording an assist on his Under-21s bow as the French duo completed the full 90 minutes in Pärnu.
France's youngsters host Luxembourg on Saturday, 3rd October, requiring a positive result to secure automatic qualification for next summer's finals, before welcoming Switzerland to Orléans on Tuesday, 6th October.
Both games are set to take place at the Stade de la Source and will kick off at 6pm (BST).
Alex Murphy and Rory Finneran
The Magpies pair, currently on respective season-long loans at FC Kaiserslautern and Notts County, were named in the Republic of Ireland Under-21s squad ahead of three European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.
Jim Crawford's side travelled to Košice to face their Slovakia counterparts at the Košická Futbalová Aréna on Friday and came away with a 2-0 win, with both Murphy and Finneran completing 90 minutes and picking up yellow cards.
The pair both started in Ireland's 4-3 comeback win against Kazakhstan on Tuesday, with Murphy netting a first goal for his country at Under-21 level.
The Galway-born defender played the full game while Finneran was replaced in the 81st minute at Turners Cross in Cork.
Ireland's youngsters, currently occupying second place in Group D, host table toppers England at the same venue on Tuesday, 6th October (kick-off 6pm BST) as they aim to secure a play-off spot.
Park Seung-soo
Teenage winger Seung-soo was named in South Korea's Under-23s squad for the 2026 Asian Games in Japan and will target a Gold medal after his country reached the final following a 2-1 win against China in Osaka.
The Taegeuk Warriors came from behind to defeat their Chinese counterparts at the Nagai Stadium, setting up a final clash with Uzbekistan or hosts Japan on Saturday, 3rd October, but Seung-soo was an unused substitute.
The 19-year-old, who joined Newcastle United from Suwon Bluewings in his native homeland last summer, was also unused in South Korea's 4-0 last-eight win against Vietnam on Friday in Nagoya as they sealed their place in the last-four.
Korea's youngsters reached the quarter-finals after topping Group D, claiming a 2-0 win against their Saudi Arabia counterparts at the Paloma Mizuho Rugby Stadium in Nagoya, with Seung-soo entering the field of play in the 76th minute.
The Korean teenager recorded his first appearance for his country at under-23 level in their Group D opener against Qatar a week prior, appearing from the bench during the final minutes of a 4-1 win in Nagoya.
Yoane Wissa
The Magpies forward has helped DR Congo make a fine start to their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, creating a goal and assist in his country's 2-1 away win against Zimbabwe on Monday.
The 30-year-old striker opened the scoring on the half-hour mark, his eighth goal in his last 12 international outings, before Samuel Moutoussamy's strike, courtesy of Wissa's assist, doubled the Léopards' lead on the stroke of half-time. Wissa was replaced in the 84th minute in Harare.
Wissa lined up for the Léopards in their opening Group E fixture against Equatorial Guinea last week, finding the target in a 2-0 win at the Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa, scoring with a low effort after ex-Magpie Chancel Mbemba had opened the scoring for his side.
Matias Fernandez-Pardo
The 21-year-old forward, who joined the Magpies from Ligue 1 side Lille this month, was included in Belgium's squad ahead of four UEFA Nations League group stage fixtures.
Mark van Bommel's first game as Belgium head coach was a memorable one, as they sealed a 2-0 win over Italy at Rome's Stadio Olimpico on Friday. Fernandez-Pardo entered the fray for the final seven minutes.
The Red Devils, however, suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of France on Monday as Michael Olise's late strike proved the difference at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels. Fernandez-Pardo entered the field of play in the 85th minute.
Belgium head to Liège to face Turkey on Friday, 2nd October at Stade Maurice Dufrasne before facing France three days later at the Stade de France in Paris. All matches will take place at 7:45pm (BST).
Sean Steur
The 18-year-old midfielder received a first international call-up for the Netherlands at under-21 level ahead of three European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.
The Dutch teenager, who has represented his country from under-15 to under-19 level, made his under-21s bow as an 83rd-minute substitute in Jong Oranje's goalless draw with Group G leaders Norway at De Adelaarshorst in Deventer on Friday.
Michael Reiziger's side travel to Murska Sobota to face Slovenia on Wednesday, 2nd October before concluding their group campaign against Bosnia and Herzegovina counterparts four days later, playing at De Vijverberg in Doetinchem.
Ousmane Diabaté
The 18-year-old midfielder has received a call-up to the Guinea squad ahead of two AFCON qualifiers.
Guinea began their qualifying campaign with a 2-1 defeat to South Africa at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday, with the teenager a half time substitute.
They now face Kenya in Conakry on Thursday, 1st October (kick-off 5pm BST).
Diabaté, who joined the Magpies from Gençlerbirliği Ankara S.K. earlier this month before returning to the Turkish Süper Lig outfit on loan for the duration of the 2026/27 season, made his senior international debut during June's friendly against Northern Ireland at Windsor Park.
Lewis Miley
The 20-year-old midfielder, who hails from Stanley, was named in the England Under-21s squad as Lee Carsley's side prepare for three European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.
The Young Lions beat Kazakhstan 4-2 at Molineux, home of Wolverhampton Wanderers, on Friday, with Miley an unused substitute. They now take on their Slovakia counterparts at Stoke City's bet365 Stadium on Friday, 2nd October (kick-off 7:45pm BST).
England, who currently occupy top spot in Group D, conclude their qualifying campaign when facing an away clash against Republic of Ireland on Tuesday, 6th October, which takes place at Cork's Turners Cross (kick-off 6pm BST).
Malick Thiaw and Nick Woltemade
The German pair have both received international call-ups as Jürgen Klopp has named two separate squads for the upcoming Nations League matches in his first act as head coach.
The Magpies duo feature in Klopp's second group when Die Mannschaft welcome Serbia to Munich's Allianz Arena on Thursday 1 October before travelling to Thessaloniki to face Greece at the Toumba Stadium on Sunday 4 October.
Both games will kick-off at 7:45pm (BST).
Vakhtang Salia
The teenage striker, who has scored four goals in his opening five games at U21 level, was named in the Georgia Under-21s squad ahead of three European Under-21 Championship qualifying fixtures.
Georgia's youngsters were beaten 3-0 by Greece at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi on Saturday, with Salia withdrawn just over quarter of an hour from time.
They now play Northern Ireland on Thursday, 1st October at Ballymena Showgrounds (kick-off 7:45pm BST). Georgia round off their Group F campaign against Germany on Tuesday 6 October at Bielefelder Alm in Bielefeld (kick-off 5pm BST).
Alfie Hutchison
Hutchison, who joined Newcastle's Academy from Rangers in July 2025, made his full debut for Scotland at Under-19 level in a 3-1 friendly win against Finland on Thursday.
Tam Courts' side fell behind inside the first minute at the Guillermo Amor Stadium in Alicante but goals from Alexander Smith, Max Cameron and Callan Hamill completed the comeback win in their first of three friendlies in Spain.
The Dunfermline-born teenager, who has scored six goals in his opening five U18 Premier League matches this season, could be in action on Sunday 27 September when facing Czechia at the Estadi Olímpic Camilo Cano (kick-off 2pm BST).
Scotland's youngsters then conclude their trip with a clash against Ukraine on Wednesday 30 September at La Nucía (kick-off 10am BST).
