Malick Thiaw and Nick Woltemade
The Magpies pair were both named in the Germany squad ahead of two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Luxembourg and Slovakia.
Thiaw was rewarded with a recall to his national team for the first time since 2023 following a series of impressive displays for Eddie Howe's side.
Woltemade, who has scored six times for the Magpies in all competitions so far this season, netted his first senior international goal during Germany's 1-0 away win against Northern Ireland last month.
And he followed that up with a brace on Saturday at the Stade de Luxembourg, as his two goals earned a 2-0 win for Julian Nagelsmann's men. Thiaw joined Woltemade on the pitch for the final 11 minutes, meaning the Magpies played together for the first time at senior international level as the frontman completed 90 minutes.
Germany then hosted Slovakia at the Red Bull Arena, home of RB Leipzig, on Monday and 23-year-old frontman Woltemade opened the scoring with a superb header which beat ex-Magpie Martin Dúbravka - his fourth goal in his last three games for his country.
Thiaw came off the bench just after the hour mark as Germany strolled to a 6-0 victory, with Woltemade playing the full 90 minutes.
The result guaranteed Nagelsmann's men a place at next summer's World Cup finals.
Dan Burn
After being an unused substitute for England in their 2-0 2026 World Cup qualifying against Serbia at Wembley on Thursday, Burn started at centre back as they beat Albania at the Air Albania Stadium in Tirana by the same scoreline on Sunday.
It was a relatively straightforward night for Burn, who played the full game as Harry Kane's double ensured the Three Lions completed their qualifying campaign without conceding a single goal.
Burn was initially one of three Magpies players named in Thomas Tuchel's squad, along with Anthony Gordon and Nick Pope. The latter had earned a recall to the Three Lions' set-up, having won his tenth and most recent cap against Germany in September 2022.
But Gordon and Pope withdrew from the squad because of injury and concussion respectively, with Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah and Manchester City's James Trafford replacing them.
Sandro Tonali
The Magpies midfielder was included in the Italy squad ahead of World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Norway.
The 25-year-old earned his 30th senior cap in Gennaro Gattuso's side's 2-0 win against Moldova in Chișinău on Thursday, playing the full 90 minutes in a routine win.
But he didn't feature on his return to the San Siro, home of former club AC Milan, on Sunday when the Azzurri were beaten 4-1 by Norway.
Lewis Hall and Lewis Miley
The young pair were been named in the England Under-21s squad ahead of two 2027 European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Republic of Ireland and Slovakia.
And they both started for Lee Carsley's side, who are aiming to win three successive U21 EURO titles after successes in 2023 and 2025, as they beat Republic of Ireland 2-0 at St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park on Friday.
Hall was fouled in the box to win the penalty which Divin Mubama netted to open the scoring, before Tyrique George wrapped up the win late on.
Both players also feature in the 4-0 win over Slovakia at the Tatran Arena in Presov on Tuesday, with Hall coming off the bench for the final half hour and Miley entering the fray with just over 20 minutes remaining.
Anthony Elanga
Forward Elanga was named in the Sweden squad ahead of two World Cup qualifiers against Switzerland and Slovenia, and the right winger started Graham Potter's first game as Blågult head coach, which ended in a 4-1 defeat at the Stade de Genève in Geneva on Saturday.
Elanga provided an assist for Sweden's goal, which was dispatched by Benjamin Nygren, in a disappointing defeat for Potter's men, who then drew 1-1 with Slovenia at the Strawberry Arena in Stockholm on Tuesday.
Bruno Guimarães
The United captain was named in Brazil's 26-man squad ahead of two friendlies against Senegal and Tunisia.
The central midfielder, who was nominated for the Premier League's EA Sports Player of the Month award for October, featured in friendlies against South Korea and Japan last month.
And he made his 40th appearance for Brazil in their 2-0 win over Senegal at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium on Saturday, playing the full 90 minutes.
They then faced Tunisia in France three days later, with the friendly taking place at Lille's Stade Pierre-Mauroy and Guimarães keeping his place in the line-up, playing an hour of the eventual 1-1 draw.
Alex Murphy
The Galway-born defender was included in the Republic of Ireland Under-21s squad for two 2027 EURO Under-21 qualifiers against England and Andorra.
The 21-year-old will be aiming to add to his nine caps accrued at under-21 level, but was an unused substitute when the Boys in Green were beaten 2-0 by Lewis Hall and Lewis Miley's England at St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park, home of Birmingham City, on Friday.
They were then beaten 4-0 by Andorra on Tuesday, with Murphy coming off the bench at half time with his side already two goals down.
Leo Shahar
The 18-year-old right-back is part of the England Under-19s squad for three games in the first round of the 2026 European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign in Lithuania.
All games take place at the Raudondvaris Stadium and Shahar didn't make it off the bench in the 2-0 win over the host nation on Wednesday, but he did play the full game in the emphatic 7-0 victory over Latvia on Saturday.
The final match in the group saw the Young Lions record an emphatic 4-0 win against Scotland on Tuesday morning, with Shahar introduced from the bench in the 69th minute, as Will Antwi's side topped their group to advance into the Elite Round of qualifying.
Roman Dowell
The 15-year-old goalkeeper, who featured in Newcastle's UEFA Youth League game against Athletic Club on Wednesday, has been named in the England Under-17s squad for three fixtures in Dubai during November's international camp.
Liam Bramley's side beat the United States 5-2 on Thursday, with Dowell an unused substitute at the Shabab Al Ahli Stadium, and he was also in the squad for their 1-1 draw with Ivory Coast on Saturday at JA Resorts.
England’s final game, against Australia, saw Dowell play the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw at the Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium on Tuesday.
Mohamed Waddani
The 18-year-old winger, who made his full debut for Newcastle's under-21s side in September 2025, has received a first senior international call-up for Libya ahead of two friendlies against Mauritania and Sudan in preparation for the 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar.
Waddani, a representative of his country at under-20 level, could be in action when Libya face Mauritania on Saturday, 15th November before facing Sudan three days later.
